You may have noticed that every member has a bar in their profile with the numbers 0/100 below it. This is the new point system i have enabled. You will be awarded points by me when you have done something that in my eyes is beneficial for the forum, whether it be a great thread/post or if a new member has joined stating that you are the reason they have joined.

I will be tight with these points, because once you reach 100 points you will receive a title 'BEST MEMBER' And you will have this title until someone else reaches 100 points, they will then receive the title until the next person and so on.

Staff will also be included, but not me because i am the only 1 who can give the points

I think this should be fun

You don't have to do what your job is to get points, obviously still do your job Razz But that's not what you'll get points for, because it's not something i can see if you know what i mean? If i see a great post/thread started by you i can reward you for it with points, if someone new joins and says 'i joined because of blah blah' i can reward blah blah with points.

I'm not making sense am i? Razz

Change of plan with the points system. They will now be replacing the Quality Poster competition. So once you have reached 100 points you will receive free band merchandise, and your points will be set back to 0, giving someone else a chance to win.

Obtaining these points will be easier then obtaining the title of Quality Poster. I will reward points for good posts/threads, members registering because they heard of the forum through you and any other reason that i think deserves points. There may not always be a winner each Month but more of you will have a chance of winning this way rather then the same members always winning Quality Poster.

Simon suggested the idea of each week posting a score card so everyone can see how many points people have. I will post the top 5 every week. Simon received 5 points for this suggestion (a good example of how these points can work)
